Magen's Bay Beach has been named by National Geographic magazine as one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world.
The streets here are paved with cobbles of adoquine, a blue stone cast from furnace slag; they were brought over a ballast on Spanish ships and time and moisture have lent them their characteristic color.
The grandiose San Cristóbal Fort which was built by the Spaniards, in 1634 and completed in 1790. With its impressive walls reaching over 100 feet above the crashing waves, its primary function was to guard San Juan against land & sea attacks.
About an hour and a half outside of Los Angeles there is a wonderful photographic location that should not be missed during a few weeks of late March/early April - The California State Poppy Reserve. The fields are just west of the city of Lancaster in the high desert called "The Antelope Valley". The reserve is approximately 1800 acres.

This is the largest of the five gardens within the Portland Japanese Garden. The Wisteria Arbor is a gateway to the Garden's centerpiece, an antique five-tiered pagoda lantern given to Portland in 1963 by Sapporo, our Sister City in Japan. Stones at the base of the pagoda form the island of Hokkaido with Sapporo, the capital, designated by a red stone.
"Grande" is the best word to describe the main house at Hearst Castle. It's 60,645 square feet with 38 bedrooms and 41 bathrooms. Tour One will take you through the main living room, dining room, billiards room and movie theatre. Tour Two goes upstairs to Mr. Hearst's private suite, the libraries, and the kitchen and Tour Three covers the North Wing and guest rooms.
The Neptune Pool at Hearst Castle spans 104 feet long and 95 feet wide.
At 59 meters (190 feet high), Temple V is the second tallest pyramid at Tikal. Archaeologists believe it is the burial site of an unknown ruler.

Belize, formerly known as British Honduras, is the only official English-speaking country in Central America. Belize was a British colony for more than a century and was known as British Honduras until 1973. It became an independent nation in 1981. Belize is a member of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Sistema de Integración Centroamericana (SICA) and considers itself to be culturally both Caribbean and Central American.
