After running around with all the other puppies Dakota is having a rest in the shade.
Dakota, the 1 year old Timberwolf, just loves his den that he dug himself and keeps expanding. It keeps him cool and free of those annoying bugs.
This is Brutus, a 1 year old Timberwolf. Oddly enough he's scared of me and keeps huffing and puffing when I come around before going into a full blown alarm howl.
The only Savannah area in Nsumbu NP, the rest is covered in Itigi thicket, a unique ecosystem only found in Nsumbu NP and Tanzania.
This is a shot of the camp I spent 8 weeks in. It's literally in the middle of nowhere, the easiest way to get there is by Boat - takes about 6 hours from the nearest town. But if it comes to peace and tranquility, this was heaven!
This picture has been taken in Munda Wanga Animal Sanctuary in Lusaka during my Volunteer Project in Zambia.
