This is looking west at Cambell's Lake from Starlight Mountain. Pretty cool with the hanging steams and waterfalls. I you were to turn south, you'd have a great view of the Atlantic.
Here's a photo of the ocean side on the island's eastern most edge. I thought the red soil and blue sky were kinda cool. Behind the camera is a lighthouse with a tourist shop. At this point, the area is pretty quiet except for the strong ocean breezes.
This is the northern part of the Appalachians. Here, Mount Carleton is the tallest mountain in all the Atlantic Provinces...at a whopping 2,600 feet!!! : ) Via the main drainage in the background of this photo, it's a pretty fun hike to the top. The lower parts have beaver dams and the upper parts have cool little waterfalls.
After driving along the St. Lawrence River for some time now, I figured I'd better stop and get a photo of the beauty!
A photo of the Quebec capitol building and city wall.
Here we are at Montmorency Falls. We walked up the stairs and to the bridge over the falls...
This is on the St. Lawrence River looking east with Jacques Cartier Bridge in the background.
This is a view of Montreal from Mont Royal!
This is Canada's capitol building pictured just as a huge storm was coming in.
This is in the Seney National Wildlife Refuge. Drove 7 miles through this area and saw a bunch of waterfowl and nice scenery.
Fayette was in the late 1800's a robust iron smelting town on the southern shores of Michigan's upper peninsula. With about 1,000 inhabitants during its hay days...it's now a historic site with many relics of the past.
The great Lambeau Field!
Second night at camp in Peninsula State Park. This is the state park with at outdoor theater and professional actors...never thought I'd see that at a state park!
This is on a ferry to Washington Island which took about a half hour. I was able to bring my bike aboard the boat and ride across the island -- this was way cool!!
Looking North onto Lake Michigan from 75 feet up on Eagle Tower.
This is on the roof of the apartment in Chicago -- a great spot to view the air and water show.
A great day with the Team at Ace!
