I've been eating this since I was in Thailand. Glad to have it here now too. Too bad nobody knows it and nobody else is much interested. And I now finally have a name, but still no information.
... recognize me? I don't look so awfully skinny, do I? Maybe it's just that I have ten or eleven shirts on! No, seriously, I look in the mirror and don't feel that I'm as skinny as I used to be. But why would that be? Maybe the pranayama breathing because of all the air that I suck into my lungs! Maybe it's expanding my lungs, making them bigger, and thus pushing out my chest. Sounds ridiculous, huh?! Maybe I'm just as skinny as ever. Maybe my eyes are getting slanted from all this kimchi that I'm eating. Better get back to the good ol US of A so I can open my eyes again.
Uhhh... this is the boss' son-in-law. The boss' daughter is quite gregarious and enjoys taking pictures. The guy is much quieter. Nice people. Enjoyed their company thoroughly.
The boss' daughter insisted I sit on this thing for her to take a picture of me.
Sometimes things go so so well. This is one of those. These kids are one of my more enjoyable classes.
It feels neat to have cloth between my toes! And they've allowed me to wear these sandals that I bought in Thailand several years ago. But now in November, I hardly ever wear these sandals because it's too cold to wear them except for a little while, and that's only when I go into the garden.
The place is quite a bit easier to look at now since I decided to put lots of things away.
This is the three story apt building where I live. There are two tenants and the landlord! I've never known of such a small apt bldg.
I think this is called Miner's Lettuce. It grows wild here and if it's Miner's Lettuce then it grows wild in the US too. I haven't yet looked up pictures of Miner's Lettuce. Tastes good.
Not long after I started it. See the two plants in front? They're my SmileWildFood. WildSmileFood. You should see the garden now!
The lady on the far left speaks lots of English and is my lifeline at the temple. The lady next to her drives most of us home each night. I'm wearing some traditional Korean style clothes that I love.
