The Yarra River on which the city of Melbourne is situated, is usually a murky brown colour, though you would not know in this pohoto.
This photo is taken while sitting in a restored train carriage, looking out through at the carriage next to it and across the bay. The West Coast Wilderness Railway was recently restored, and takes passengers to and from Queenstown from Strahan. Up until the 1960s, the track was used by a mining company for transport to the port.
Boats reflecting in the calm waters of Smugglers Cove, a small bay which in the early convict days of Strahan was used by smugglers to bypass the main port.

I was lucky to be in Whitby in North Yorkshire for the annual weekend gothic festival. This is a photo of a couple of Goths walking along a back street in this historical seaside resort. The reason that the Goths chose to hold a festival here is because while visiting the town, the author of Dracula, Bram Stoker, acquired much of the detail and inspiration for his novel.
After spending a couple of days wandering around the island of Venice I was surprised that there was a park, and even more surprised that you can get away from the tourist crowd here to relax.

Walking around this lake in Slovenia, it was very peaceful. When I saw this view I knew straight away it was going to capture how I felt, and I was not disappointed.
