One for beerman! Statue in Hindu temple in Saigon mis-spelt his name!
Army dude on his moto in Soc Trang.
Fancy lookin' hotel in Saigon.
A usual day on the streets of Saigon.
These are the ruins of the 6th to 8th century Hindu temple of the Chams. It was then transformed into a Buddhist temple a few centuries later. It has a few similar features to some temples of Angkor Wat, the windows and pools especially.
The skyline looked even better lit up at night from Victoria Peak on Langtau Island.
The best skyline I've seen so far was from Victoria Peak on Langtau Island. This one's for you old man! Had a pint in your honour at the top waiting for night to fall, any excuse for a beer eh?!
I took this picture whilst sheltering from the torrential downpour that lasted about an hour. I was caught right underneath the storm and the thunder rolled through the streets like a dozen planes taking off at once! The photo doesn't quite capture the amount of rain coming down, I knew I should've bought an SLR!!
The skyline across the river to the Bund in Shanghai.
The architecture and scale of the buildings in the Forbidden City was amazing. I spent hours wandering around inside it's great walls and admiring the temples and various buildings.
Me on the wall of the Forbidden City with Tianneman Square as a backdrop.
This is the view of Tiannamen Square from the Forbidden City South gate. Beijing is really polluted and has a haze across the sky all day long. It's a real shame because it is a beautiful city and has loads of attractions.
Signs of Soviet influence can be seen in the architecture of some Mongolian buildings, such as the grey concrete one in the foreground.
Lenin's tomb on Red Square. Russian military and police love their big hats!! This was small compared to some!
Photo opportunity whilst discovering Moscow on a beautiful, sunny aftenoon.
As close as entering the Hermitage as we got! I've been told that we really missed out there because it has an impressive collection of works of art.
