Stayed 3 nights as the only guests at Kanawa Beach Bungalows. Island is just outside Komodo National Park. Went right over it flying Labuanbajo to Bali.

Rinca Staff Blood After Dragon Attack

Guide told us that a member of staff was working at his desk in the office when a small dragon managed to get in and bite him on the ankle. He pulled it off but the beast got him on the wrist and his blood went all over the wall and window when he leapt onto the cupboard. Seems he was e-vacued by speedboat to Labuanbajo then flown to Bali for treatment. Wonder why the bloodstains weren't washed off wall, window and floor????
