Thunderstorm over Kansas

My husband and I were flying back from our honeymoon when our plane had to reroute to avoid some particularly bad thunderstorms. Being from a small farming community in western Kansas, I was able to guess about where the storm was and pulled out my camera like any good Kansan would, hoping to see if maybe there was a tornado at the base of the cloud. I found out later that indeed, there was! And my brothers were on the ground chasing it!!
