Thanks for the nice words, Utrecht! I would LOVE to see a snow leopard but it is a very elusive animal - sightings are indeed rare. These tracks were less than 3 days old but the leopard was probably many km away. Our guide had done this trek more than 50 times and he saw a snow leopard once, but as soon as it saw him it ran off as fast as it could.

Fantastic! Have you seen a snow leopard as well? I love those creatures, but sightings are probably rare?
