Your point is taken and appreciated. But i must say that the hotel which features this pool is a small, well run unit which takes care to preserve the natural surroundings and resources. The pool looks big because of the wide angle lens i have used - but actually is the size of a very large bath tub. Having said that - and tourism is always a double edged sword - you have gotten to the core of why the visual attracted me. It was absolutely surreal feeling and i suppose the brightness of the blue makes the desert starker. Thanks.
Surrealist!!! Not against the photographer or the picture´s value but about it´s content. This is even worst than the stupid golf pitches in Andalusia (my homeland). It´s awful what tourism can do... in an oasis. In an oasis!!! Hell, seems nothing but a sad joke. Tourists who enjoy this should think it twice before they leave home. They should rather stay, not be allowed to move. A place like this is the proof that is possible to go very far away...without traveling at all. Traveling is said to be a good therapy... but there´s no hope for these guys... I repeat, this is not against the photographer or the shot.If i was there i wouldn´t enjoy for sure, but i would take the shot as well trying to show my "happiness" about it. It´s an interesting subject for a photo, no doubt.
