Lokrum Island, the cursed and fabled island. A wonderful day trip from Dubrovnik, and an escape from the throngs of tourists that swarm dubrovnik in the summer. it is a short boat ride,20 kuna. there is an old monastary with a wonderful lounge bar, botanical gardens, walking paths, and an inland "dead sea" to swim in and under rocks. MY fave spot in dubrovnik area. there are also nude beaches and lounge chairs on the flat rocks, and ladders into the beautiful sea....paradise
