I am just about to eat this. I don't know what it is

This is a fish (not sure what kind or how long since it was caught). I do know that it was delicious, very spicy, quite bony and fairly dry. These women have cooked it at the back of the market where the traders normally go to eat. It was very cheap and very tasty, especially with some fresh baked bread which you can see cooking in a large opan
