A young pineapple growing at Gongo in Tanzania

The main crop in the lovely village of Gongo. Fields of these constitute a major source of income for the village. Also enjoyed by the black and white Colobus monkey. Lookouts have to chase them off when they appear in the fields to eat the pineapples.
