Many people just hang around the town beach in Hua Hin and don't know about this beach, but of course many 'do' know about it ! Lovely long and wide sandy beach is about 7 km long, palms and other trees, lovely.

Just wanted to add that we spent a weekend at Takiab Bay Beach a week ago and it is just as nice. It was surprising to see people sitting along the main beach in Hua Hin so crowded, perhaps not knowing there are these nice beaches just a few km along the road.
