You pay US$15 pp for a feryy to take you from Battambang to Siem Reap.The 5 hour ferry ride is heavenly, and as you near Siem Reap, you pass by Chong Kneas, a floating village of more than 10,000 Khmer and Vietnamese families who depend on the Great Lake for their livelihood. Your ferry docks near the village, and villagers wave at you as you look at them.
