The biggest story in Australian news at the moment is our Prime Minister officially apologised for the 'Stolen Generation' fiasco in the first half of last century. A huge amount of Aborginal children were taken from their parents (without permission) to be given a better life in society. The previous (Howard) government refused to apologise for it for 10 years, and everyone was pretty fed up.
