At 10,000 ft. on the eastern Himalayas Tumling is a small picturesque village located at Nepal geographically with the connecting road belong to the Darjeelling district of West Bengal. The place mostly known to the Sandakphu trekkers as a night shelter is just have started gaining attention among the nature lovers. One can watch both Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Everest from the room window in their gigantic form. October to May is the ideal time to visit though, coldest months are likely to have snow falls. Tumling is the gateway to the Singalila National Park which is very famous with more than 300 species of beautiful birds and variety of inhabiting animals including super elusive Red Panda and Hoary Bellied Squirrel to name a few. One can walk down the hilly gravel road to the village of Meghma or Tonglu or, stroll through the Singalila National Park, clouds will encompass you to make you comfortable in their own land.
