  • About Jillyan:

I moved to the beautiful Hokianga two years ago and had my spacious healing holiday cottage built during the first year. My other cottage is over 100 years old therefore much needed restoration took place. Now it is time for me to take a leap into the unknown, so have booked my flight to Peru on September 20th and leaving on October30th after spending time in both Peru and Chile. As I will be travelling on my own with a back pack, this is for me moving into the unknown. When I arrive home the summer season is due to begin when I will welcome travellers from anywhere on the globe. I offer healing programmes, all of which you may view on my website.

  • Hobbies:

My garden takes up much of my time inbetween storms, rain and wind. I have been learning flute and teaching myself piano. At present I am learning Spanish so hopefully by the time I reach South America, may be able to make myself understood. Story writing based on past experience. I enjoy discovering information on the internet, for it is especially at present opening new doors.

  • Favourite places:

The wild west coast, Waipoua forest, Waiotemarama forest and Hokianga Harbour. Of course during my travels there are many favorite places. Slovenia, Wales, The Blue Mountains in Australia, Paris, Edinburgh, Ireland.

Travel Help

New_Zealand

Hi there, If you are travelling to Northland and the Far North especially if you are planning to come to Hokianga, then ask me and I will try to help. Travellers arriving in the Hokianga are mostly driving for there is next to no public transport. However, if you are heading toward the Bay of Islands, such as Kerikeri or Paihia, there is plenty of ways of getting there. You could fly to Kerikeri or travel there by bus. Most overseas visitors hire cars on arrival. So don't be shy, just ask away.
