"Explore the World, Enjoy the Moment, Ride the Flow!"
At heart, I'm a rambler, a writer and a photographer. I find my inspiration in the natural world, in my travels, and being in the moment.
My moments can be amazing. My timing is good, usually, and my camera helps me appreciate the fleeting moments of life.
I like making good connections with interesting people. I love the community atmosphere of hostels. I like meeting complete strangers and sharing a meal with them.
I LIVE an alternative lifestyle I opt for the "work to live" mentality and it has treated me well..
I enjoy being a man of leisure, a scholar (in its original meaning), and being a small part of the universe.

I enjoy hiking, backpacking, skiing (nordic and alpine), bouldering. I love to cook. I'm an inspired photographer who finds creative ways to capture the world for others to see. I play the banjo and the ukulele. I have a million interests, and I try to be good at all of them. I like keeping my mind challenged. In traveling I find myself at my best, and in my element.
I can find good things to say about every place i travel to, but here are a few places that I love.
Los Glaciares National Park (North), El Chalten, Argentina. South Georgia Island. The Islands of Southeast Alaska. Eagle River, Michigan. The North Shore of Lake Superior. El Bolson, Argentina. Baja California Sur, Mexico. West Virginia. Idaho. The West Coast of North America. The Antarctic Peninsula. Vancouver, British Columbia.

I can make recommendations on which parks to visit, and to camp at for good portions of the western united states, and the upper midwest. This doesn't include Colorado or Wyoming (sorry, don't know enough myself). If you give me your hobbies, I can direct you to places to partake in them. Again for the west and midwestern states. I have knowledge of other areas of the US, but not as much as I do for the west. I can also recommend good places to eat. Generally, I like small cafe's mom and pop restaurants, so those are what I can best describe.
