  So I left England in September 2009, and went to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.

  I then went back to Sydney and worked from June 2010 to December 2010, before heading back to New Zealand for three months and then a couple of weeks in Indonesia before arriving home on 15 March 2011 - exactly 18 months to the day after I left.

  Without a doubt the 18 months I was away for were the best of my life.

  Anywhere I have travelled to, but the top three would be:

  1) Yasawa Islands, Fiji
  Amazing sunsets, amazing night skies, cocktails, Fiji bitter, hammocks, beaches, no roads, beautiful seas, great food, great people = paradise
  2) Gili's Trawangan and Meno, Indonesia
  Great beaches, great sunsets, beautiful seas, very cheap, amazing nightlife (Trawangan), idyllic beauty (Meno), no roads, lots of cats = paradise
  3) Queenstown, New Zealand
  Lots of bars, great vibe, beautiful scenery = great times
