I can easily answer questions about Project: Eating Out, as I have now travelled to over 62 countries or roughly 22% of all the countries in the world. Not only do I have lots of practical daily living experience in foreign countries as well as US destinations, I have come to believe that to "know" a place is largely based on the local peoples culture and cuisine. If you can eat natively, than you begin to understand the people as well, what is important to them and how they celebrate life. Even the drinks they consume tell the story of the weather, climate, the geography, what grows nearby and what animals and plants are indigenous to the area. To remember an exotic destination, you will do well to enjoy their exotic cuisine, smell the aromas and taste the full palette of flavours there. If you drink wine, sip slowly and let yourself go, imaging life there among the towns people. Be sure to dine both where the locals hangout and where the tourist flock, in order to gain a balanced well-rounded view of the sweetness this new destination holds! And as they say in Italy, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do!" by Roman Terry - Managing Director of Get A Trip, Inc.
