The golden rule bridges all cultures
Les and Toni run a hospitality house and international homestay in Edmonton, Alberta Canada as a hobby. They have hosted hundreds of people from around the world since 1989. They have one son, who is currently living in Venezuela, 2 dogs and a cat. Toni works full time as an editor of children's magazines and Les is an independent water technician.

In addition to the operating the hospitality house and homestay, Les and Toni enjoy their extensive flower gardens, ocean fishing trips to BC, and camping in the mountains.
We go fishing to Ocean Falls, a very remote place on the BC coast nestled in the mountains. We also enjoy the rugged area of the Rocky Mountains by Ram Falls in Alberta.

Unfortunately, in spite of our expertise in budget travelling, I don't know of any way you can find accommodation in Banff for 6 people for under $80 a night if you "don't want to camp or stay at a hostel.", nor am I prepared to find you a job to fund your vacation. However, if you are still stuck for an answer regarding planning your western Canada holiday after reading these forums and doing a reasonable amount of your own research, by all means contact me and I'll see if I can help.
