Canada

I travelled to Canada 3 times, but only in the east: Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Been to Toronto and the Niagara Falls and the southern area of Ontario, to Montreal, Quebec City and surroundings, to Halifax and Cape Breton, and to St. John's and much of Newfoundland including Gros Morne NP.

Europe

Living in the Netherlands, I travelled extensively across many parts of Europe, from the off the beaten track Faroe Islands to glitzy Paris or ancient Rome. Also travelled a lot in Eastern Europe, including unusual ones like Moldova, Kosovo and the Caucasus countries. So if you have questions about Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, the Alps, British Isles or many cities, please ask.

Caribbean

Travelled around the Caribbean islands a few times, visiting quite a few islands including Saba, Dominica, the British Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and Montserrat. Also several others and the biggest of them all: Cuba. Wrote the Caribbean Ferries article here on TP and know quite a bit about transport in general.

Faroe_Islands

Travelled to the Faroe Islands in september 2010 and visited about 10 of the 18 islands, mostly by car, also using ferries and a helicopter once. Can help you out with getting around, main towns, accommodation etc. Much of the info can be found in the travelguide article, but need you know more, please ask..:)

United_States

Travelled through much of the western part of the USA during two trips in 2010 and 2011, total almost 2 months. Visited cities like San Francisco, San Antonion, Los Angeles, Tucson, San Diego and Las Vegas, and many national parks in California, Arizona, Utah, Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado and Wyoming. In 2013, I travelled to Washington, D.C. and New York City and south towards Savannah and Florida, visiting the Everglades NP, Key West, Miami and a few other smaller places.

Australia

I have travelled by car from Melbourne to Darwin and from Sydney to Cairns, both along the coast as well as through the Outback. Probably I can help you with some Outback questions and how to travel around by car.

Netherlands

I live in the Netherlands and have visited all provinces and most cities, like Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam. Living in Utrecht, I know most about that province/city.

Armenia

I stayed about a week in this very small country, visiting most places of interest, like Jerewan, Lake Sevan and Echmiadzin.

Bolivia

Although I only visited the higher parts of the country (Altiplano) I can help you with this part, from Tupiza in the south to Copacobana in the north and all places in between.

Brazil

I traveled to Brazil during two totally different trips. But out of the main cities and far away from the beaches. If you are going to the Iguacu Falls, Pantanal and Amazon Basin on the other hand, I might be of some use to you! This also applies to the extreme south: Rio Grande do Sul.

Chile

As it is one of my favorite countries, I know a lot of many places in Chile. Especially the northern and southern most parts have my interest: Atacama and Patagonia.

Cuba

Travelled by car through this magnificent country of caribbean communism. Ask for information as much as you want. Visited Havana, Vinales region, Trinidad, Camaguey, Santiago de Cuba and Baracoa.

Georgia

Haven't spend that much time in Georgia, but I visited most nice places, like Gori, Tblisi, Batumi and the Kaukasus. As there are not so many travel helpers for Georgia, I will help as much as I can.

North_Korea

One of the most bizar countries I have been to, ask for information if you want, about places but also about the rules in this country and how you manage to get there in the first place.

Lebanon

Before the israeli lebanese war I travelled most of the country in 2005. From Tripoli to Beirut, to Sidon, the Bekaa valley (zahle wine region) and to Bcharre and the Cedars.

Morocco

Travelled through the southern parts of this beautiful country, across deserts and mountains and along the coast and to Marrakech.

Namibia

I travelled by car independently in Namibia and know the top places, like the Fish River Canyon, the coastal areas, Namib and Kalahari deserts, Etosha NP and places in between.

New_Zealand

My first big trip I stayed for about a month in New Zeland, visiting most places except the Bay of Islands. So Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin, Rotorua, Taupo, Nelson, Westcoast (glaciers), the Fjords and southernmost part around Invercargill.

Norway

Travelled through this magnificent country from the north cape to Oslo. It is my European favorite.

South_Africa

Travelled around South Africa twice for about a month in 2009 and 2011, mainly in the central and northern parts, including the Kalahari, the Karoo and some coastal areas.

Syria

This is really a terrific country and I travelled here in 2005 so I have some recent information. Been to Aleppo, Damascus and Palmyra, but also to the less visited east: Deir ez Zor and south towards the Iraqi border.

Pitcairn_Islands

Although independent travel to the Pitcairn Islands is impossible without your own yacht, I am probably one of only a few members here on travellerspoint that has been there. To the main island (Pitcairn) as well as both Oeno and Henderson Island (not to Ducie unfortuntely, the fourth one).
