If you are going to travel to Moscow there is a better alternative than staying in hotels which are generally overpriced and ill-serviced there. Consider renting a short-term apartments instead - these are more homely, less expensive, spaceous and private. Quite a few agencies could be found on the net, for instance www.fabrussia.com and others. But do not hesitate to ask questions about the apartment you picked to avoid surprises upon arrival!
