Life aint a dress rehersal.....you only get one shot
Well I've had a pretty adventurous life already - lived and worked in the USA at 18, then travelled to many places with the British Army when I was in my mid-late 20's.
Now? Well.....most of my friends are responsibly married, with 2.4 children but I still have THAT bug and my feet are itching again.
You only get one shot at this life and I don't want to procrastinate - I still want to see places and meet people and go to bed at night, looking forward to next day rather than dreading the morning and wishing for the following weekend.....
I've got the chance to make that happen once again.....redundancy due in July and apart from a mortgage and partner, nothing holding me back.......I want to make best use of my new found time and fulfil another chapter to my life
Music - gigs and festivals
Formula 1 sport
Ever? Wow - it has to be South Africa........I adore that place and have been lucky enough to see the highlights and some of the lowlights, and to drive its length.
Something amazing about snoozing in a jacuzzi, on the deck of a stilted chalet, with zebra, springbok and warthogs grazing nearby.
My second favourite is the romantic charm that is Italy - lived and worked in Southern Italy with the Army. Even a heart of stone would pump in this hopelessly charming and romantic country.
Iceland - wow..........amazing place and one which I would like to return to.........an uneartly barren expanse of black desert and almost extra-terrestrial rocky formations, to surprising lush waterfalls, glacial lakes and geysers.
Where next? I hear Australia calling.........
Visiting: United Kingdom, Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Australia.
I was born and grew up in London - so have 37 years worth of knowledge to impart!! I keep up to date with what's going on in London and regularly make use of the numerous free and otherwise events that come to London each year. I live about 10 minutes walk from the Olympic site
