Rome, Brighton, Istanbul, New York, Sydney, the Dolomites, the Red Sea, Virgin Cove and Namua Island in Samoa, Glenorchy and the mountains around, quieter bits of Thailand, the Cumbrian mountains, Tiger Leaping Gorge, the Isle of Eigg.

A fascinating few days in Indonesia!
Had Visa issues, arrived at the wrong port and had to get a taxi right across the island, stayed in the cheapest guesthouse ever.

I grew up on the edge of the Lake District National Park. My family still live there and I have visited regularly since moving away.
Currently living in London (again), can help you find the 'real London', avoid Leicester Square! Was resident in Brighton (on and off) for 7 years, so Brighton and Sussex a speciality. Also particularly useful for Cumbria - Lake District and North Pennines, though I say so myself - I was brought up there and visit regularly.
