Life is too short to not do what you want.
I've been a sufferer of wanderlust since the age of 3 when my parents won a trip to Madeira and got me a ticket to go along. I wanted to be an archaeologist from the age of 8, a geisha from the age of 10, a film director from the age of 15. I spent endless hours listening to my grandfather telling me stories about Africa, where he worked for a decade.
Being Portuguese means that there is a desire for discovery and a need to be on the move. I call several places home, but most importantly, I call home wherever I feel comfortable which tends to be wherever I am.
The 3 main things to know about me is: reading, music and film.
I try to read the most I can during the year and I tend to get through quite a few books when I'm travelling - somehow being away makes it easier for me to be in a book.
I love all types of music and I also love dancing to music and singing. Musicals are another great passion.
Last, but by no means least, film encompasses movies and photography film. I am a very visual person, so I love taking photos and shooting films. I have worked as a freelance film person fulfilling a range of roles.
The places I always have to go back to are London and Porto. Having lived most of my life in these cities means that they are home and where I have friends.
In London: the British Film Institute, the Natural History Museum, Brixton and Po Cha, my favourite Korean restaurant in the heart of London.
In Porto: Cafe Majestic, Crystal Palace Gardens and the Ribeira, the river bank.

I'm currently 5 months in into a 2 year stay in Copenhagen, so I have seen all the popular sights and know how to get around. And most importantly, where to get decent food for what I call "Scandinavian cheap" (never as cheap as you want it to be, but it's as cheap as it gets here)
I spent my entire teenage years in London, so I know the city rather well, particularly the centre. I know about all the best food places (and cheap!) and about cool things to do and see.
I was born and lived in Portugal for 12 years and experienced the country as a resident and tourist. I know the north of Portugal particularly well. I have taken several of my friends to enjoy my native country, so know about a lot of different activities and the best places for food, of course!
