  • About ramonc:

    Author,
BEST AND WORST TRAVELS by Ramon Carver, 365pp (140,000 words), $24.95, bn.com, iUniverse.com, Amazon.com, Bookpeople.

Ramon Carver, asks and answers the question: "What trips would be right for me?" as author of the "What I wish I'd Known Before I Went" travel series, addresses the concerns of travelers who - when spending big bucks travelling - don't want to be disappointed, getting sick, getting lost, and getting bored to death.

Carver provides an amusing and definitive list of over twenty things that can go wrong, and he offers solutions for dilemmas, and encouragement. He boasts that in retirement, he has always been more thrilled while travelling than disappointed.

For the record, he's not Raymond Carver, the famous short story writer (deceased), he's somebody else, residing in Austin and Salado, Texas, with his wife, Barbara.
