THAILAND/TRAVEL COMPANIONS

Hey guys , I have just recently got back from Australia and now I have the travel Bug. I'm wanting to travel Thailand over Christmas possibly for 4 weeks - 6 weeks. I'm looking for a travel companion or even better still if we could get a group formed and plan a trip out that would be amazing. I haven't booked anything yet , im quite flexiable with dates. I would love to be spending Christmas day on the beach though with a nice cool drink but if the person im travelling with would rather wait till after Christmas day, as I know some people like to be with family for Christmas then I don't mind waiting. Longs as were out there before New Year , as I would like to go to the famous Full Moon Party.
But we have plenty of time to plan a trip , I want to see as much as I can

Hi Tash , my names Declan and I was planning to go to Thailand around this time , I have not booked anything yet and would also like to spend Christmas with family although I wouldn't mind been on a beach for the holidays . I have been to Thailand before for a month and have been to Phucket and a few of the Islands . I'd love to have some company ( even better if there was a group) ,
and it would be cool to meet up.

Hope we can get this together and have more people on board .

If you plan to visit the islands during the holidays make sure you make hotel or guest house reservations early before they are all full. The best islands to get away from the tourist crowds is Koh Lanta and Koh Turatao. If you would like to meet others to join you you might want to visit Thailand Travel Partners

I will be in Burma early December and Thailand for Christmas and New Year. Planning to stay mainly off the beaten track though and will spend the majority of my time in Northern Thailand.

This is Brilliant if we could get a little group together I was debating on going with the ultimate Thailand its a group and they plan out the first 10 days for you. Do either of you know much about this ? or would you recommend doing it ourselves ect ?

Let me know your ideas and thoughts on this

I'm going Thailand & Vietnam over the Christmas and new year as a first time traveller. Not much of a winter fan so the Idea of having a few drinks on a beach during Christmas Day sounds superb. If this group does gather momentum; count me in as I'm travelling alone anyway so always good to meet others, to share plans and ideas...

I would still insist on wearing santa's hat however hot it is! Full moon for New Year is high on the list but I'll need to plan it carefully as I've booked a one way flight into Bangkok at the end of October, hope to last about 4 months...

I'm from Northampton but I'm flying from heathrow.
