I'm going to Thailand but only in February 2015 (although I was there earlier this year in February). I arrive on the 15th and have already arranged to meet a large group of travel minded folks in the Sukhumvit area. The next part of the itinerary is still being discussed, my original plan was to take the overnight train to Chiang Mai, stay a couple of days, and then fly to Luang Prabang in Laos, find our way down to Vientiane before taking the train back into Bangkok, all within a week.

Another option we are considering is going to Angkor Wat from Bangkok but that may require more time, which I am also considering since my ticket allows me flexibility in rebooking the flights without penalty.
Hiya I'm thinking of going to the north of Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for a couple of months from the end of Aug/ start of sept if anyone is around and fancies a buddy for these places?
