Booked myself a one way ticket into Bangkok on a spur of the moment type thing. Got 4 months off work so was planning to do thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Im travelling alone which is daunting but want to meet others, share ideas of places to go, stuff to do. I've done a bit of research but i really like the idea of going off the beaten track. If anyone is in these places from November onwards and wants to meet up, travel together then let me know!

Where are you in Nov? Im doing similar- 5 months in SE Asia! Ive got the same Idea of more of the beaten track route, away from the usual haunts etc.

Hi Perrine,
Plan (if you can call it that) is to land in Bangkok on the 30th October, stay in a hostel for a few days and then go where I fancy. I like the look of discovering the north first and maybe going through Cambodia and into South Vietnam. Then who knows!!?

The best plan is no plan! lol I will be around that time too. (flying from bali to bkk on 15th oct) will be heading up to Pai/Chang Mai then to Laos, Nam and Cambodia.

Thats a great idea, no point in planning things as you have to stick to them then. I have never been to Asia before, furthest i've been in Egypt for a holiday. I have worked and lived abroad before though so the idea of being on my own doesnt overly bother me. Im very excited. Hows Bali? Do you have Bookface? (i cant call it the normal way as it makes me gag)

hello mate, av also booked a one way ticket to bangkok for the 10th november!!!! and my plans are to go to the same places as yaself, im up for an adventure mate, off the beaten track, not bothered were i stay, up a tree or in a 5 star hotel, wouldnt mind doing a bit of camping in national parks tho, facebook joey jacobs, or ill hope to speak to ya soon see if you wanna meet up over there, am a 30 yr scouser by the way,

Haha nothing better than a bit of havoc. Just don't end up on tv series banged up in Bangkok ha. I've got brains so am a blue. Just about to watch city smash at least 4 past the mighty liverpoo ha. Joe
