I feel better about the whole experience now I've spoken to you guys phew! Requests sent! Hey char, I'm planning on staying in the wake up for 3 weeks from September 17th then I'm going to Thailand to meet some friends for 10 days then hopefully want to move into a flat share or something when I get back to sydney to start work. Working whilst living in a hostel would be pretty difficult I think! Xx
Yea Nicola you don't want to be living in a hostel whilst working, I did it for 3 months, never again. the constant turn over of people in my room, (though it was only a 4 bed dorm) new people every day really, getting by on not much sleep when people stumble in drunk in the middle of the night, trying to cook decent food when there are 20 other people in the kitchen to...yeah i could go on but you get the jist. Hostels great for socialising but once you get a proer job, get the feck out...:-)
