Hello. I am trying to plan a trip to Ireland with my mom, who is falling in health and has been wanting to travel here for years.

Not knowing much about Ireland, I did some research and found some locations that looked worthy to visit. We are going for 7-8 days and will rent a car. She really wants to drive the coast, so I was thinking we could fly into Dublin drive South along the coast and back North up the West coast.

I would appreciate suggestions about:
if this is realistic?
where to stop overnight?
suggestions where to stay?

I would like to go to:
- Dublin
- Wicklow National Park
- Powerscourt garden and falls
- Kinsale/Cork county
- Dingle
- Adare
- Cliffs or Moher
- Galway/Connemara Drive

Thanks for any comments you wish to offer. :)

You said your Mum is not in good health, does she have a wheelchair? I have just spent 3 weeks in Ireland in a rented car and if you plan to visit the Cliffs of Moher a wheelchair would be advisable. I visited Powers Court many years ago and absolutely beautiful and I am sure your mum would love to see the gardens.

Are you staying in hotels/motels? Make sure where you stay have a lift or make sure your room is on the ground floor.

Where else are you staying> I stayed at a Best Western Hotel in the centre of Dublin which was accessible to the city area and quite comfortable.

Happy travels.
