Google photos! All your stuff backs up automatically, but unlike dropbox, it's unlimited! It finds people's faces for you so you can quickly drop the photos to your new friends without having to share a whole album. Plus, it automatically recognizes places and has an insanely creepy searchability (i.e. if you want to find those waterfall photos you took, you can search by "waterfall" - having never labeled the photo - and google photos will find it.

Hope that helps!

There is the app called jet lag rooster. If you fly long flight it helps you to plan how you should adjust your sleep routines before and after flight so that you won't suffer so much of jet lag. I haven't tried it yet but soon I am going to travel for long flight and I hope that app will help me get better sleep in airplane :)

I love smartphone apps (I have an android) and I think that they're really making our live better. I always have my smartphone with me when traveling and it helps me a lot, but... There are so many apps for traveling and it's hard to choose from. So, please tell me about your favorite apps for traveling, 'cause there nothing better than advice from real people.
Thx a lot :)

Hi. For me it's MapsMe.

For Berlin, the BVG app is fantastic. It covers all Berlin public transit and maps your trips for you. It also tells you where you are and how many stops to go. One of my favorite. For German rail, or European rail in general, the DB app is tops. The swiss rail app was tops as well.

IMO, for business travelling, I recommend Google Docs. You can just simply use it as a word processor and it automatically saves the document online.

I'd be a big fan of Foursquare - very handy to find the best rated places in your current location.
