Travelling as a career

Just wondering if you guys have any idea's on Careers you can make based around travelling... The obvious I suppose would be Journalism, or Photo Journalism, but what else is there??

Teaching English as a second language, particularly if you are a native-English speaker from a native-English speaking country. The preferred countries tend to be UK, USA, Canada, Australia & NZ. There are limited opportunities (usually with very small children) for other English-speakers

Hi Kevin,

It's a good question, and one that's come up a few times. I did a couple of searches and located the following threads. There was this thread about Travelling Jobs and a really long one about Making a living out of travelling which went on for a long time.

I think teaching overseas is one of the easier ways to make some money and still be in another destination. It's not quite the same as travelling and working at the same time, but that's generally very hard to accomplish unless you're in the writer/photography business I'd say...

Website development seems to work. ^_^ (Though I wouldn't call it a career - and eventually I'll run out of countries with working holiday visa schemes...)
