I've met Jeffrey Archer and Wilbur Smith at book signings. Archer was a bit stiff, but Smith was a very nice gentleman.

I was at Caesar's Palace in the 70's dealing "21" and got to deal to Frank Sinatra, Jilly Rizzo & Leo Durocher(baseball manager); Tom Jones, Johnny Carson, Howard Cosell & Art Buchwald, Telly Savalas, Diana Ross, Merv Griffin & Eva Gabor, Adnan Khashoggi(billionaire arms dealer). Quite a bit of stress when dealing to Sinatra's group, great guy when winning, not so friendly when he was losing. Thank goodness he ended up winning that night.

When I was a bellman at the MGM Grand Hotel in the 90's I checked in; Wynnona & Naomi Judd, Pamala Anderson & Tommie Lee, Shaquille O'Neal, Magic Johnson, Mike Tyson, Don King, Evander Holyfield, Cathie Lee & Frank Gifford, Michael Crawford, F. Lee Baily(OJ Trial), Jimmie Connors, James Caan and the Sultan of Brunei.

6 or 7 years ago when i was in chicago studying one night i went to a bar i used to hang out called " Greenmill" and i realised that on the stool beside me was sitting Forest Witaket. He was sitting with another african - american actor but i do not know his name. He was acting at the film "Pulp fiction". the big muscular guy who played the scene of the rape.
Anyway both of them where very frienldy and simple. We bought a round of drinks and chat with them for a few minutes.

I also met Neil Gaiman earlier this year at a book signing. He was so nice, so friendly and humorous. We even took a photo together. And we share a birthday! (not the same year, of course).
