Is it easy to obtain RSA and how do i go about it? Just carried out search on it, but no luck?
I have got a basic food hygiene certificate, would that help?

Hi. basic food hygiene certificate will help if you are getting into catering or even working in a local deli or sandwich bar but the RSA Cert is completely different. Its basically a 7 hour course, most bar jobs prefer you also have your Responsible Gaming Certificate Also and you can do both these courses back to back. Depending where you arrive you can usually find a local hospitality training school and book in to do complete the course within the week. Make sure that the course is AHA (Australian Hotels Associated) credited otherwise its not worth the paper its written on. They usually cost around $100 each. If your landing in Sydney try
Hope that helps.

If you are flying into Sydney I recommend going to the Travellers Contact Point on George Street (it's on Level 7 of hte massive Dymocks building, can't miss it) They have an office that does all the training you need - you can book in and be doing it the next day. They also do deals where you can get a discount if book your RSA and RCG at the same time

The TCP is also helpful cos it has a mail storage area and you can book tours, send stuff home etc all from the same place

If you're not going to Sydney then a lot of the other capital cities have a TCP as well that probably have the same set up.
Hope that helps

i did mine in the Dymmoks building in Sydney too. The guy was cool, he rushed through the lectures in about three hours and the test was open book.

Get the british balls magazine, theres a $10 off voucher for it

have a good'n!
