I hold a Spanish Citizenship though I'm currently living in the Philippines and have a resident status. Do I still need to get a Vietnamese Visa?
Vietnam Visa
According to this Wikipedia website you do not need a visa for visits of 15 days or less, but if I were you, I would check with a Vietnamese embassy to be sure.

An update to my post above ..
This website looks almost official -- it is the ministry of tourism. It confirms that no visa is required for Spanish citizens for a stay of not more than 15 days BUT - THAT AGREEMENT IS ONLY VALID TIL 30th JUNE 2016 ..
I would still want to check that with the Vietnam Embassy before travelling.

I'd probably check with the embassy but thanks a lot Steve! You've been of big help!
Ok - thanks for the thanks.
If you happen to find out that visa things are different than we think, please come back to this thread & let us know.
I am curious to see if that 15th June deadline will be extended.
Happy travels.
Steve
Since you hold a Spanish citizenship even though you are living in the Philippines you can stay for a maximum of 15 days in Vietnam without getting a visa. However, in the event that you want to stay in longer that's the time that you need to apply for a visa.
