Hey everyone! :)

Firstly, a big hiiii to everyone

At the (slightly older than average!), age of 27, I have decided to pack it all in and do some solo travel! :)

I will be heading to SE Asia in October for a 30 day tour (anyone happen to be going on an 'Indochina Discovery' tour in October?) and will be arriving in Sydney in early November with the aim of working & doing a bit of travelling :)

I have been booked into Base Backpackers hostel in Sydney for 7 days (I have booked myself one of those 'starer/intro packs through a travel agent to ease myself into solo travel :)).

On the off-chance, I was wondering if I may find anyone who is planning on going to Base around the same time or even the same Asia tour?
I've read some reviews - has anyone stayed at Base before?

Thanks in advance for all your help / comments! :)

By the time you have done the SEA tour and spent your booked week in Sydney, you will probably have figured out you could have done better on your own without paying any third parties to 'help' you.

When you say you aim to work in Australia, do you have a Working Holiday Visa to do so or were you thinking of working illegally?

You may well be right, but as I am completely new to travelling, I decided to give myself some piece of mind considering I will be on the other side of the world.

Not sure if that is something you have explored, hence your suggestion..? However no, I meant it simply in terms of, I haven't worked out what I will do first / more of.. that part of my trip is still in progress.
But yes, I have my WHV!

Thanks for your reply! :)
