I will move to Dublin this September and some friends are coming to visit me there. Since we've all already seen Dublin we were planning a little road trip to the western coast. I just pinpointed some places on the map that I thought would work but I was wondering if you have any other must-see destinations and how much time minimum I should put aside for this trip.

I'd recommend the Cliffs of Moher - the scenery is stunning and you can do some beautiful walks along the cliffs.
How many days you have for this trip? I feel you try to cover a lot of territory there if you have in mind less than a week. Not that it is not possible to do it, but you will be driving most of the time and will not have time to appreciate the areas their selves.
The Cliffs of Moher were definitely on my list.
We will only have 4 or 5 days so maybe it would be better to only do 2 nights in each Galway and Limerick incl. the Cliffs of Moher. Do you think that would be too stressful? Google Maps said its under 3 hours each way.
