Many thanks Greg and Yve,

I looked at the address on the site, and am assuming your at the hyde park location and not the strath. I grew up in the towns around there (more in the country) cause hyde park is part of london but close enough I guess. You'll be on the outskirt of the city, lots of golf courses out that way, a bike would probably be handy if you don't have a car, if i'm not mistaken (i never took buses in london) there are not busses over there. You will be on the 'rich' side of town, which is considered to be byron/oakridge which are right down the road. There is good shopping by london standards at massonville which is a bit NE from your location. Richmond Row has all the nightlife in london unless your going for some small local pub. I like springbank park in byron, and that trail is good for bikeing as well, it follows the thames all the way up and splits at the forks, it is a very efficent way to get around london by bike if your remotly near it. It ends just past UWO on the N branch.

I personally like london better then toronto, i've been in TO for a year now, and say that maybe nightlife etc is better here, i'd prefer london any day. PS try stobies by the cathedral downtown (right by victoria park) best pizza i've ever had. With the John Labbats center there should be some decent shows in town this summer. Check local radio station sites to see who's all playing this summer. Sarnia bayfest is on (its 2 hr away, and depends on when your comming) and warp tour is in barrie (2.5?? hr away roughly) Niagra falls is a nice day trip, and so is TO.

If you have any questions feel free to post em, I know your part of town quite well and worked in komoka (a town near you) and hydepark for a few years, as well as going to school in the area.

As far as traveling, there really is nothing to the west unless your going to the border cities, there is a park on the lake down to the SW that is nice, but thats about it, some places in that part are very rural, london really is the hub of SW ontario, and the biggest/best out of the GTA.

Good luck,
