Hello,

I have a questions regarding working holiday. I am from Edmonton, Canada and would like to apply for a working holiday. My question is about the process and biometrics scans. Online it says I have to apply in person in which the only locations are in Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto which are very far and very expensive for me to get to.

If the biometric scan is mandatory, my question is can I do the scan/apply when I visit Denmark next month? I am visiting a friend from Feb 20 – March 5 then returning home and then planning to apply for my working holiday visa for the months of June-Sept.

Can I apply while visiting Denmark and thus save me from flying out to Vancouver at a later date?

Thank you for your assistance.

Well if it online says you have to apply in person in either Vancouver, Ottawa and Toronto, then I don't think you can apply in Denmark, there must be someone who can help you? can't you contact some company or?

Thanks everyone.

Yes ive emailed a few consulates/embassy already and haven't heard anything back. I just know for the biometric scan they send to Denmark, and if I'm already going there it would seem logical I could do the scan and apply there.

I was just hoping someone had personal experience.

You say you have mailed a few consulates .. if that means you are open to going to countries other than Denmark, the UK has a youth scheme & it seems their biometrics can be done in at vsf in Edmonton.
