As it turns out Iceland will be the final destination on our upcoming trip. It was last-minute inspiration. We were figuring out how to return to the U.S. from a cruise across the Atlantic and an extended stay in Europe. Looking over the many options, a friend and I finally discovered that a week's stopover in Iceland would be the perfect ending for a 10-week trip.

Oh, what a wonderful end to your trip - I am so envious! Proof positive that thorough research always pays dividends :)

I would like to travel to La Paz after 3 months. Can you guide me which is the best travel company to contact for organising my tour?

Youtube and travel blogs helps me a lot in choosing a destination. It's pretty hard though! Uhmmm Btw, do you guys have any suggestion on what to bring when travelling alone?

Books. I read a lot when alone.
Good shoes. I like to walk but walk even more when alone and have shorter breaks for lunch and dinner.
Spare batteries for my iPhone so that google map doesn't shut down when I am lost in the middle of nowhere.

I have a big world map in the office. Usually I stand in front of it, look at different countries names. Then make decision depends on the traveling days and weather.

For me, I think the best way to plan a memorable safari holiday or trip is to first born a tentative idea about your traveling budget, traveling dates/season and then your keen places of interest you what to visit. Then join up travel forums to ascertain whether other people out there have done something closer or similar to yours. Thereafter make some similar amendments and alternations in your search in order to fit up with your travel needs.

After that look up to local suppliers in your intended destinations for more arrangements and for confirming your trip.

Good luck!
