Exporting your VT content

Hi Peter! Thanks again for taking us in and saving our content. I am glad to be here!

I've just joined from VT (and more-or-less kept the same username so 'hello' to everyone else!).

Please can you send me the link to transfer the content.....and thank you very much indeed for providing us with this option. :-)

Thanks, ExRanger. I received your message but can't reply today as I've already exceeded my limit (hadn't realised there was one) by sending messages to VT friends on here. I've set the transfer in motion and, with luck, it'll be sorted by the time I get up tomorrow.. :-)

Sorry about that! We has some trouble a couple of years ago with spammers sending PMs en masse, so now there's a limit to how many PMs you can send based on how long you've been registered on the site. That means that it'll get a little bit less limiting every day, until hopefully very soon you won't ever run into it anymore.

I've managed to come here from VT as well. I would like to obtain the link as well. Prefer e-mail as I haven't had a chance to get familiar with the system here yet.

Michael, don't worry about the download.
I started the download, shit down the pc, went to bed and everything was transfered when I woke up.
No problem when you don't immediately see the download advancing. When you start the link/download, you're placed in a queue to limit the traffic to VT. When the one in front of you is done, yours will automatically start.
Of course your pages will take a lot more time than mine tondownload, given the amount of data you have on VT.
