Option 1:
Click "My profile" to open your profile page.
Below the member pic you see a link saying, in your case, "4205 photos".
Click this to open and view your photo gallery.

Option 2:
Point your mouse to "Control Panel" and select "My photos".

***For those who haven't saved their VT material before shutdown***
https://web.archive.org ("Wayback machine")

Magic Tip:
1. Go to one or more of your current VT pages (profile page or other) and save the URL. Do it now as you may not know it in the future.
2. Go to the above "wayback machine" site and enter your desired VT page address. You'll then be taken to a page that was automatically saved/captured at some point in time. Note that many links, probably all of them in such page also work, that is you'll be taken to more saved/captured pages.
3. In the top portion of the screen you can try a different date (date when such page was saved).

There is a high chance that you will be able to access all of your material even after VT's shutdown.
Hope this helps! I've also posted this in the FB group, please share through other channels if you can.

Peter, thank you for hosting a bunch of desperate VTers :)

Excellent information! My material till March 2016 is all there, seeming functional, even the extra tips that the script of Tilman and Giampiero didn't catch. Thanks!

Nicola,
this is what you need to do, I just did as a check and it works:
1. Go to the web.archive.org page
2. Enter your VT profile page address (yours is http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/75259)
You'll then be brought to a page listing the dates of captures in time. I've clicked on the most recent, that is Sep 6, 2016 and accessed this page:
https://web.archive.org/web/20150906031951/http://members.virtualtourist.com/m/75259/
which is your PP of that time.
3. You can browse links on such page and they work - at least those which I've tried. I could access the list of your travel pages and albums.
4. As anything on the web, the "wayback machine" might one day get rid of the saved captures. You then need to save your stuff. To do so, do the following:
5. You must save each page individually.
5.1 Go to a page as described above and wait until it fully loads
5.2 Depending on the browser you use, go to menu then choose "save page (Web page, complete)"
5.2 This done, click on a link on your page, and, when taken there, repeat the steps.
NOTE: the "wayback machine" shows multiple captures for a page. The bar at the top of the screen shows the dates of capture. It is recommended to retrieve the most recent of such captures. If the page seems incomplete, or some links do not work, the page may not have been captured correctly at the time it was automatically done. If so, try other dates for such page. It is not guaranteed that each and every one of your pages was captured by the "wayback machine". Try your luck but, so far, I found all of my pages which is likely to work for everyone.
Important: if you never bookmarked your VT pages (such as your PP, for instance) you should go there before the site will close and bookmark or write down the address. As it's typically composed of letters and numbers, you will not be able to find it in the future through a search engine.

Hope this helps ;)

Jean-Pierre

No - nothing wrong. They will be transferred but will not be visible until Peter works out how to combine them with the photos.
With such an influx of new members from VT suddenly flooding the site I expect it could take a little while.
Cheers
