Mapping your Photos

A small update related to this.

I've added pagination in the photo management area, so you don't have to hit the "All photos" button to get to the last ones. Actually, I removed the All photos link. It was just a bad idea for that to be available at all! You can, if you really want to, adjust the URL and add "&count=500" or something like that to load more than just 100 at a time.

@Beausoleil, sorry to not answer that question - there isn't a way of bulk tagging currently. I'll have to think about that.

The bulk edit function no longer works ,,, I select all & the check marks go onto each box but when I click EDIT in the blue box the screen reverts to no boxes ticked.

I just tried it - the first time I did so it crashed me out to the TP homepage, but the second time it seemed fine. Could be an intermittent fault?

Nope - still not working for me

& a while ago goodfish posted http://www.travellerspoint.com/forum.cfm?thread=110259 about not being able to delete in bulk .. that was a few days ago so unrelated to the pagination.

I've mapped a couple of photos but I don't see them anywhere. Should they be on a map someplace?

From the top right hand corner .. Go to your profile .. on the right you will see your photos .. click on 'show all photos by greatgrandmaR' .. you should see your photos & clickable tabs with Australia Bermuda Denmark England Italy Spain .. click a country & you will see all the photos you have mapped..

Click on Spain & then click the photo & scroll down & you can see a map where the photo was taken .. I see Barcelona

If you want to associate photos to a map you have made, then you will need to create a map .. try .. it is very easy.

Oh my God! This is soooo much easier. I've been doing it 1 by 1 on my mobile. I'll do it on a PC from now on then, unless there is a way to select multiple photos on the mobile?

So can I no longer get a list of all my photos on one page? I was using Katherin's excellent suggestion of searching for a destination across all my photos, then editing all the ones I saw highlighted - by far the fastest method I had found to date. Now it seems I can only search one page at a time, unless I'm missing something?

Hi Sarah, if you need to see them all, you can still add "?count=all" to the URL to get them. It does still work. I removed the link, because it's not really something I want to encourage due to the size of that query for some people.

Sorry millypaulrtw, I'm not aware of any way to do it on a mobile. I'd really have to make something specifically for that scenario to make it work I think.
