Ah, I see my mistake. Thank you very much!!
Mapping your Photos
One more question in context to our photos (and noooo, no more issue
is there something like an update/refreshing of the servers once in a while? I am asking because I deleted various double and triple photos and they still seem to be here = on TP, albeit no longer in "my photos".
The precise example: since I am writing about Milano Marittima I cleaned/cleared the ones with the milano_marittima tag. Must have removed 30 or so. But when I enter the town into the photo search, 102 come up, all from me, inlcuding the double/triple photos.
(I think I did that cleaning a couple of days ago).

I may be wrong but, I think that your question answers a question I was going to ask the other day .. 'if I delete a photo, does it remain in my blog' .. & the answer must be 'yes' because that is what I understand has happened for you.. Peter sort of answered it the other day when he told someone ( toonsarah? ) that there is no link between a photo in a blog & the photo.
If you don't want a photo in your blog you will have to delete it from there too.

Ignore my post .. I misunderstood you I think .. steve
Thanks Steve. I too think that you misunderstood me.
I did the deletion of double/triple photos first so that I don't get confused when I write the blog entry and search the tiny photos for the proper ones (you know that old age and eye thing )
It must have been a massive photo upload with ex-VTers arriving here, so I was trying to do my share and delete nonsense "photos" (screenshots that were imported from VT too) and also double and triple photos. Before I write the blogs.
I did the search for milano marittima & I too found 102 .. if I click a photo that appears a duplicate, occasionally a message appears 'that page does not exist' even though I can see the photo. Bizarre or what?
But Steve - your misunderstanding of Trekki's question may help me. Because I was worried: if I have doublettes and have used this photo already in a blog but do not know which of the two, then I can delete the double photo without worrying that it may disappear from my blog? (Was this understandable? I hope...)

You ( & I ) should test that.
The search index is frequently lagging behind reality. I know Peter said recently that he should spend some time looking at it, but I imagine he hasn't gotten around to that yet. But that means that yes, you can still find photos in there which have been deleted. Eventually they'll also disappear from the search, but that can take longer than it should.

I have not tested it yet but if I go to my blog = http://hasbeen.travellerspoint.com/463/ & right click the first photo & choose 'open image in a new tab' , the URL shows details of the photo. That is new for me.
