Dear people:
I'm looking for backpackers who visited Venezuela. I'm writing my master thesis about "Mochileros en Venezuela" and need (international) backpackers who travelled the country and want to help me by answering some questions about their experiences. Anyone here who wants to help?
This is the questionary:

Thank you so much!!!

I've been to Venezuela twice in the last 20 months and it is not a destination any casual foreign backpacker should be considering. Period.
I spent spent quite a time there many years ago and have close friends, that's the only reason I returned.
Highly NOT recommended for normal backpacking travel at this time.
Cheers,
Terry

I think I would wait for things to simmer down. From what I've heard the last couple of months things have been getting quite heated in Venezuela. Unless anyone has some new information I personally would disuade people from visiting right now.

I packed there ten years ago. It was rough then. Now, I can't imagine. Still....my best travel day EVER was hiking among the tepuis in Venezuela.

I backpacked in Venezuela ten and nine years ago and loved it. I wouldn't go backpacking there now though!
