Hey guys,
I'm planning on visiting the white cliffs in the south east of the UK. Since, I live in London I'd only be visiting for a day. I wanted to know which white cliffs are more breathtaking and prettier between the cliffs of dover and the cliffs of eastbourne.

Thanks !

Actually my favourites are the Seven Sisters, which are quite near Eastbourne, although the closest town is Seaford. How are you planning to travel? For the best views you may need your own transport. The cliffs look wonderful from Cuckmere Haven, just to the east of Seaford.

I'm planning of taking a train out of London to Eastbourne. after that maybe taxi/bus/walking but I'm looking forward to breathtaking views of the sea from the cliffs.

If you're reasonably fit you could take the train to Seaford (from Victoria via Brighton) and walk the South Downs Way to Eastbourne, which would take you right along the most spectacular sections of cliff - Seven Sisters and Beachy Head. Have a look at this website http://www.southdownsway.co.uk/sdw_seaford_eastbourne.html for a description of the walk and lots of photos. It's possible to do just part, as far as East Dean, which the website highlights.

I should add that I've only done parts of this walk, not the whole thing, but a good walker should easily do it in a day.
