So basically I did my farm work in Australia. I’m now in New Zealand for a few weeks traveling and I applied for my second year Oz visa in NZ about a week ago. It says it has been received but I’m still waiting for it to be granted. If you apply for the visa outside of Oz then you have to stay in the country you applied for it from until it’s granted, so for me that’s NZ. Problem is, I have a flight booked to Asia in early January. Does anyone know of any type of temporary visa they can grant you to allow you to travel while you wait for your visa to be granted. I know if you apply for the visa while you’re in Oz then they can give you a Bridging Visa B which allows you to leave Oz and travel while you wait. Just wondering if anyone knows of anything similar when applying outside of Oz?!
